Old Square Tax Chambers is inviting applications for a funded third six pupillage/probationary tenancy. This third six pupillage is offered with a view to tenancy.
The pupillage is non-practicing but comes with an award of £35,000. If tenancy is offered, chambers will guarantee earnings of £60,000 for the first year of practice.
Applications are invited from candidates with experience in the commercial and/or chancery fields. Experience in tax is not necessary.
The previous four third six pupillages (most of whom had no prior experience in tax) have all become tenants of chambers. Our expectation is that we will be able to make a similar offer to the successful candidate.
