Covid-19: Temporary Measures to Support Our Clients

We at Old Square Tax Chambers are committed to providing the very best services to our clients during these unique and difficult times.  We have put arrangements in place so we can continue to meet our clients’ needs, in line with the current health and safety guidance from the government, and remain open for business, whilst at the same time adhering to HM Government’s advice when it comes to the welfare of our staff, members and clients.

As part of our Business Continuity Plan, we are able to work remotely with secure laptops and will continue to be responsive and connected at all times.

We are confident that these measures and our best practices will ensure a consistently high level of client service.

We will also continue to offer all training and seminars through virtual means, including webinars.

We appreciate that there may be cases where a face to face conference in Chambers or at a client’s office. If this is needed, and subject to the then Government advice we will require anyone in attendance to formally certify in writing that:

  • They have not visited a high risk location or affected area.
  • They have not been in close contact with someone who has been to one of these locations
  • They have not been in contact with a confirmed or suspected case of  coronavirus in the past 14 days. This applies even if you have no apparent symptoms.

However we ask that you generally take a safety-first approach in this regard. Please do consider whether a physical meeting is necessary and if so, whether any of these criteria apply to you or any other attendees – and if they do we will happily make alternative arrangements.

All of our contact details (phone numbers, email addresses or otherwise) are the same and are available to view on our website. If you have any questions about our temporary measures, want to speak to our members or plan to visit us but are unsure about what to do, please contact either:
