Cliff Holland

Cliff is the Senior Clerk at Old Square Tax Chambers. Cliff has been a barristers’ clerk for over 30 years and leads our clerking and administrative team, with overall responsibility for client relationship management, the strategic management and development of members’ practices and Chambers’ business as a whole.

Cliff  has a detailed knowledge and understanding of the specialist practice areas in which members operate and an awareness of client expectations and needs. He has a commercial approach to fee negotiation and is willing to discuss progressive fee arrangements to suit differing client case requirements.

In addition to his chambers role, Cliff serves on the Management Committee of the Institute of Barristers’ Clerks (IBC) and Chairs the Equality & Diversity Committee.

Franco Lombardi

Franco prides himself on providing a first class service to all clients of Chambers and provides operational support to our barristers. He is also trained in managing Direct Access matters. Before his arrival in 1989, he clerked at 2 Plowden Buildings (now 1 Pump Court) and 5 Essex Court. He can call on more than 25 years of clerking experience. In his spare time he runs a taxi service for his children.

Adam Blades

Adam joined Old Square Tax Chambers in April 2012, after starting his clerking career in 2007 at a large chancery set in Lincoln’s Inn.

Adam assists with the daily running of chambers; including diary management, liaising with clients and lodging with the Courts and Tribunals.
